I heard a story about Czech poster designers being advised to keep font size down for Western movies and use large letters for Soviet movies. The objective was to improve the box office of Soviet movies in our cinemas. Though I cannot really substantiate that story with evidence (many of my posters clearly negate that story), it springs to my mind looking at the very small head of Annie Girardot in this collage.

When I say that author of this poster is unknown, I mean the person in Czechoslovakia who tinkered a bit with the original Polish drawing. In Poland of course, the animators behind Bolek and Lolek are Messrs. Nehrebecki, Ledwik and Lorek. You may also know these two characters as Jym and Jam or Bennie and Lennie.
